My MFA thesis was about calling attention to the beauty of the microscopic world. I photographed hundreds of specimens under my microscope, from spiders and flies to onion peels, newspaper, and dryer sheets, and brought them into the world of graphic design. My final thesis show cultivated in 4 carefully designed posters, and 3 experimental movie title sequences.
I love well crafted title sequences. They are so important, yet often overlooked. I learned Adobe After Effects and immersed myself in the timing, sequence and layering of images and videos captured through my microscope to bring them to life.
