At ShapeUp, "Participant Marketing" is the term we use for the suite of marketing posters, flyers, screen posters, and ecards we create for our wellness challenges. Each challenge has a unique theme: in the Ready, Set, Go challenge, team members track steps, exercise minutes, and weight loss to race competitors to the finish.
Walk the Wonders is a steps-based challenge where teams virtually travel to the New 7 Wonders of the World, unlocking new destinations as the team advances. These materials were a collaborative effort – I worked on the layout and typography, and Asher Eggleston created the beautiful illustrative images.
I also designed materials for many of our other challenges, including Balancing Act (balancing unhealthy vs. healthy behaviors), Level Up (tracking increasing increments of exercise), Flex Your Food (nutrition-based), and our customizable Destination Challenge, where clients choose locations around the world (usually specific office locations) to virtually travel to based on team step count.
